Laura Sampson is a senior corporate finance adviser with over 25 years’ experience across M&A, debt and capital advisory, and strategic transactions. Through Sampson Ventures, she advises boards, CEOs and senior finance teams on complex transactions, capital strategy and growth initiatives, with a focus on delivering commercially sound, execution-driven outcomes.
 

Most recently, Laura was a Corporate Finance Partner at Findex, where she led the Sydney M&A and capital advisory practice, responsible for origination, execution and business growth across a diverse client base.
 

Prior to this, she led Adara Partners' Corporate Advisory business, a purpose-led corporate advisory firm, advising on M&A, capital raising and strategic initiatives while setting and executing the firm’s growth strategy.
 

​Laura began her career at Goldman Sachs, where she advised on portfolio strategy, trading and risk management across global equity markets. She subsequently moved into Corporate Finance, spending over a decade at National Australia Bank - leading the Healthcare & Ageing sector within the Global Corporate & Institutional Bank and advising major corporates and private equity clients on financing and complex transactions. 

Laura brings deep sector expertise in healthcare, ageing and social infrastructure, alongside broader experience across property, financial services, technology, consumer and diversified industries.

Her experience spans multi-billion-dollar financings, M&A and cross-border transactions, complemented by an extensive network across corporates, banks, investors and private equity.
